Joe’s SEO Campaign
We’re back up to ten #1 rankings this week and holding strong at 25 search terms in the top 10. Â Most rankings stayed the same, with three moving down one or two spots and nine moving up one to six spots. Â There’s a lot of consistency in this campaign, which is good, but it’s time to step it up to the next level if we want to get more of those phrases moving up to the top 10.
Eric’s SEO Campaign
We’ve still got our three #1 rankings this week, with 23 in the top 10, which is an improvement over last week by one. Â All 35 search phrases are still ranked in the top 100 with quite a bit of movement in a lot of the lower rankings, some up and some down. Â Two of the main phrases remained where they’ve been for some time (with a little bit of movement for a day or two throughout the week), but two of the other phrases dropped a little. Â As with Joe’s campaign, I think it’s time to take it to the next level.
Josh’s SEO Campaign
Josh’s site continues to move up and down, but it’s mostly down from where it was a few weeks ago. Â As I’ve been saying, this is due, I believe, almost entirely to the fact that the site hasn’t been updated with new content in months, and the homepage shows a very out of date special offer. Â I think Google is smart enough to know that when something on your site says “Happy New Year” that it hasn’t been touched for a while.
Nilesh’s SEO Campaign
Nilesh’s main site still has one #1 ranking and eight in the top 10. Â A few terms, including one that was sitting at #10 last week, dropped one space while another moved up to #11.
Surprisingly, the secondary site posted nothing but gains this week. Â Most of them were only one spot, but one (which is a phrase that I don’t think shows up on the site) moved up 23 (to #23). Â This site also has one #1 and eight in the top 10.
Bryce’s SEO Campaign
We’re maintaining nine #1 rankings this week, although one of last week’s #1’s dropped to #2. Â Fortunately, another term (though it is one that hasn’t been much of a focus) went from unranked to #2 a few days ago to #1 today. Â We’ll see how that one plays out.
One of the high-competition phrases dropped to page 2, but the ridiculously generic term with a bajillion (okay, only 90,500) global searches every month maintained its #1 position. Â I’ll cry, literally cry, the day that one decides to drop to #2. Â (So hopefully it won’t happen.)
Chad’s SEO Campaign
Time to make some changes on Chad’s site, I think. Â In fact, a whole new site might be in order. Â Our former #8 is now at #14 and the two other terms that are ranking are so far down that they don’t matter all that much. Â Google’s really not liking this site very much, and I think that if we added a more informational aspect to it (such as a blog talking about the news in its field or in-depth product reviews), it would go a long way towards helping.
Larry’s SEO Campaign
Larry’s overall campaign performance improved this week. Â We’ve still got one #1, but we’ve now got four in the top 10 (plus a #1 Google images result) and all ten phrases have moved into the top 100.
Danielle’s SEO Campaign
Danielle’s site continues to do well, especially considering that at this point all work has been on-site. Â We’ve still got five in the top 10, but this week one of those became a #1. Â Three phrases are unranked and one former top 10 phrase took a pretty big dive, but it was more than made up for by the fact that the majority of the key phrases in the campaign jumped ahead by double-digits. Â Terrific progress for the newly redesigned website.
